Women in Business Program

The Village of Innisfree Library Board is excited to share a new program for our community.

Earlier this year the Innisfree Library Board had the opportunity to submit an application for a grant being offered by the Public Library Grant for Skill Development in Rural Alberta, and we were successful in our bid! We received $10,000 towards creating a Women in Business Program for our community.

Who is this program for?

The Women in Business Program is open to all women in the Minburn County area who own/operate a business or are in the process of starting one.

This is a FREE program for Women in Business in our Community.

Members can own/operate businesses of all natures: brick-and-mortar, online/virtual, pop-up shops, markets, and MLMs (multi-level marketing - for example, Scentsy, Tupperware, Avon, Young Living Oils, Epicure, Steepology, and any others not listed here).

The program will support members through networking, learning events, and providing resources to help grow their businesses. This will be done through; monthly meetings, training sessions, networking events, and showcasing our members where possible (for example - a Monthly Member Feature in the Innisfree Informer).
