VILB Plan of Service

Village of Innisfree Library Plan of Service: 2023-2025

INTRODUCTION BY BOARD CHAIR

The Village of Innisfree Library (VIL) officially opened July 4, 2012 and since then has increased the size of its collection and the number of programs and services offered. The purpose of this plan is to continue to: build on the initial plan; to increase the number of patrons using the library; and to increase the number of services and programs offered by the library.

In January/February 2023, a short needs assessment was sent out to community groups in place of holding a community planning meeting. From the information gained and discussions with individual groups, this Plan of Service for 2023-2025 was formed.

This Plan of Service will be our guide to ensure the Village of Innisfree Library will continue to be known as a gathering place welcoming all age groups and be the resource center for programs and services available within our community and surrounding area.
